Vision

The Vision of the ACF is to see an efficient and prosperous agricultural sector that contributes to national food security and income.

Mission Statement

To promote in a non-partisan manner private-public sector consultation and participation in the development and implementation of agricultural sector policies. This will be achieved by providing an environment that facilitates constructive dialogue, information sharing and communication amongst private and public stakeholders in the agricultural sector.

Strategic Objectives

I. To facilitate continuous consultation among key stakeholders in the agricultural sector.

II. To provide informed advice in the formulation, updating, designing and operationalisation of agricultural policies and programmes.

III. To provide a channel for information gathering, analysis, networking and sharing among stakeholders.

IV. To provide an independent perspective and feedback on the performance of the agricultural components of Zambia's Poverty Reduction Strategy Programmes.
